  • Level 5 - $81,999 to $89,521 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • On site: Appointment to be made to current campus location

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking to step into a senior, influential role within the Division of Information Technology. As the Senior Information Technology and Client Support Officer, you'll provide expert support across the University's Service Desk while working closely with the Manager, Client Services to maintain high-quality service delivery, meet performance targets and continuously improve knowledge management and support processes.

Beyond resolving complex IT issues, you'll be a trusted mentor for Service Desk staff, helping develop capability across the team through coaching, training and process improvement. You'll also provide high-priority audio visual support for teaching and learning spaces, contributing directly to the success of staff and students across the University. If you're someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service within an IT Service Desk environment.
  • A confident communicator who builds strong relationships and supports colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience supporting audio visual and video conferencing technologies.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, using your initiative to enhance processes, knowledge resources and service outcomes.
