The role

  • Continuing, Full time
  • Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst

As the Lecturer in Engineering, you will teach a broad range of subjects in our civil engineering major. In this teaching/research role, you will deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching across face-to-face and blended modes, conduct relevant research and contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and maintain strong industry engagement.

This position is required for face-to-face teaching on our Bathurst campus and therefore remote work options are not available. A generous relocation package may be offered to the successful candidate to assist with relocating to Bathurst to take up this opportunity.

About you

  • A doctoral qualification relevant to civil engineering or similar, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of civil engineering, specifically in geotechnical engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to delivering high quality, student centred learning and teaching.
  • A record of research/creative works relevant to civil engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in an academic setting.
