Lecturer in Engineering

The role

• Continuing, Full time
• Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Bathurst

As the Lecturer in Engineering, you will teach a broad range of subjects in our mechanical engineering major. These subjects include dynamics, mechatronics, control systems, mechanical design and manufacturing.

You will deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching across face-to-face and blended modes, as well as contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and maintain strong industry engagement in this teaching-focused role.

This position is required for face-to-face teaching on our Bathurst campus and therefore remote work options are not available. A generous relocation package may be offered to the successful candidate to assist with relocating to Bathurst to take up this opportunity.

About you

• A doctoral qualification relevant to mechanical engineering or similar, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering, particularly dynamics, mechatronics, control systems, mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to delivering high quality, student centred learning and teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in an academic setting.
