The role

  • Full Time - Fixed Term (5 year contract)
  • Senior Remuneration Level 4 

The Head of School reports to the Executive Dean and is accountable for the performance of the School across learning and teaching, research productivity, staff leadership and financial management.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs, an excellent student experience, and strong research performance. The Head of School leads academic and professional staff, oversees planning and resource management, ensures compliance and accreditation standards are met, and strengthens partnerships with government, industry and the profession.

As a member of the Faculty Leadership Team, the Head of School contributes to faculty-wide strategy, planning and decision-making, supporting the delivery of the University Strategy and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
